Hello friends!
I wanted to share the sketches that I plan on turning into full sized paintings. Soon I will start planning photoshoots where I can collect references of the characters below.
If you resonate with my mission, please consider modeling for one or multiple of these images.

The entire experience will be very modest and respectful.
Sketches
Below are the 13 images of this new series. More may come pending inspiration! If one or more of the images resonate in particular with you to pose in, please let me know!
#1 - Shedding Dignity
The angler fish represents pornography in this series. The person attracted to the glowing orb drops his sword, shield, and crown, showing the dignity we shed when we engage with lust. Meanwhile the jaws of the demon of lust hungrily await the man’s fall.
Models Needed: a man willing to pose underwater
#2 - Family Slab
A man who has secured the glowing orb (pornography) sits on a slab of concrete with his sword embedded in the stone. Beneath him are his wife and children, a “family tree,” that supports the weight of his sin as he refuses to pick up the sword. “if you refuse to fight this battle yourself, your sons will have to fight it for you.”

#3 - Hideaway
Pornography is surrounded by so much shame that to reveal it to anyone would feel like dying. In Christianity, a unicorn traditionally represents chastity, so a woman hiding her sin also locks up the beauty of God’s purpose for her sexuality.

#4 - Pearls Before Swine
A woman has cut out her heart, offering it to a man whose dignity, fight, and very self is fading away. Pearls drip from her as the angler fish binds her. This image shows how lust traps people who desire to give their gift to those who don’t want it.

#5 - The River That Never Satisfies
Together, men and women caught up in lust are drinking from a river that never satisfies (in the belly of the angler fish).

#6 - Imago Dei Shattered
Man and woman, unknowingly trapped in the beast’s mouth, grasp for each other to satisfy their deepest longings. Holding a scythe, the symbol of death, the man imparts a toxic gift to the woman. Because of who she is, she nurtures this toxicity and sends it into the world. Their eyes are bottomless pits, unable to see each other clearly.

#7 - Generational Burden
Though they know what they are made for (the icon of the “imago dei” reaching for the stars), the man and woman are unable to attain this vision of their humanity on their own. Without acknowledging their inner “wounded child,” the generational sin passes onto their children.

#8 - Into the Belly of the Beast
In order to rescue their “inner child,” men must courageously enter the belly of their own history, guided by the Holy Spirit. But none can fight alone. A whole army of men gather together to defeat this monster.

#9 - Mother Warrior
Together, women warriors are guided and protected through the belly of the beast by the Blessed Mother. While villains creep on every side, they are not afraid.

#10 - Intercessory Burden
The betrayal of lust is excruciating and kills relationships. A woman gives this pain to Jesus crucified and her prayer is incense to Him. The power of her prayer is rich.

#11 - The Wound in My Side Will Heal the Wound in Yours
Jesus pulls Adam and Eve out of a chasm in the earth. The wound in His side from the cross heals the wound in Adam’s side where Eve was formed.

#12 - The Eye is the Lamp of the Body
Healed man and woman

#13 - Imago Dei Restored
Having “plucked out their eyeballs,” man and woman are restored. They have new eyes to see each other as God intended. Standing in God’s hands, they are properly ordered. The man imparting gift and blessing, the woman receiving it, nurturing it, and bearing new life. In their bodies, they are an icon of Trinitarian love.
