What I Hate More Than Anything in the World
Hello friends!
Today I want to tell you about a deeper mission that the Lord has placed on my heart to go after with my art.
On May 18th I graduate from the Encounter School of Ministry! It’s been 2 years of unpacking some of the greatest hidden treasures of our faith I’ve ever found.
In this last quarter of school, we have been praying about the “Kingdom Dreams” that God has placed on our hearts. The particular ministries, apostolates, and missions that are lying dormant, waiting for us to say “yes.”
One of the questions we contemplated is “what intercessory burden has been placed on your heart?” In other words, what problem in the world weighs heavy on me?
As I prayed, it became so obvious, like a brick hitting me between the eyes.
The thing I hate more than anything in the world…is pornography.
I hate how lust and pornography have torn families apart, neutered men and women, kept them from the fullness of relationships, and distorted and warped the beauty of human sexuality.

The porn problem in 2026 is actually staggering.
So here’s how I’m going to help God do something about it.
I have been sitting on an idea to create a series of art inspired by the Theology of the Body for the past year. But truth be told, I haven’t really felt that “umph” of inspiration that I usually do with projects.
But now, I know my why.
The antidote to pornography is actually beauty. Porn is evil because it twists and distorts something as beautiful as the human person into an object.
The human heart is made for deep, awe-inspiring beauty! But porn inverts this good longing and turns it inward. Beauty…real beauty, opens our hearts back up to the Divine.
So that’s what I’ll attempt to do through these paintings.
A dear priest that I met at SEEK prayed that my artwork would burn the demon of lust right out of people as they looked at it. That is my prayer for these pieces.
When those struggling with lust are tempted to view pornography, I want them to look at these works instead.
There’s more.
As I was praying for those affected by pornography, Jesus turned my attention to His ones who have participated in making porn.
In every painting I do, I need models to pose as the characters.
So I want to find those who have used their bodies in the service of lust and invite them to put them in the service of beauty. I want this to be an opportunity of redemption.
Here’s where you can help.
I’m reaching out to you, my faithful subscribers, patrons, and followers to connect me to people and stories.
Have you or someone you love been affected by pornography? I would love to hear your story.
Do you know anyone who has made pornography (preferably in the Kansas City area)? Would you be willing to connect me with them?
Do you know organizations or ministries that would benefit from this art series? Let me know!
Finally, would you support my “Kingdom Dream” with your prayer (especially against any attack that may come my way) and finances? Recently I’ve been blessed to discover I have a Donate button on my website! I completely forgot about it, but a few people have begun to donate to me in the past couple weeks. THANK YOU! ❤️ For at least $10/month, you can call yourself an official patron of the arts and every quarter I’ll send you a surprise gift in the mail!:)
For all of the above, e-mail me here.
Thank you SO MUCH for joining me on this journey. I’m so excited to see how the power of God works through this project.
