Based on Zechariah 2:5, this print serves as an encouragement that the Holy Spirit is with all Christians embarking on mission and evangelization. The verse states: “For I will be unto her a wall of fire round about and will be the glory in the midst of her” - a prophetic statement of this baptism and intimacy with the Holy Spirit sent to us by Jesus. The woman in this image is taking a “blind step of faith” encircled by the Holy Spirit. By our baptisms, Christians are anointed priest, prophet, and king: the robe symbolizes the priestly authority, sandals for prophet, and a ring and crown for king. Many have also viewed the woman as Mary, totally open to the will of the Holy Spirit.
